Why Did I Eat That?
If you struggle with food cravings, this is for you.

We all struggle, to some degree, with food cravings.
I still do even though I’m a nutrition coach who’s in great shape.
And that’s a good thing.
Here’s why:

The Big Picture 🖼️
Do not seek to eliminate food cravings.
As I explain in the video below, you will NEVER be able to completely eliminate them.
However, you CAN empower yourself over them.
The first step, the primary key to this is awareness.
Down below, I offer you a tool to raise your awareness.
Explain It To Me Like I’m 5 👦

Let’s Make A Deal 🤝
Whether you watch that or not, at the end of that video, I talk about making a ‘Discomfort Deal’.
This is one of many strategies you could test.
You could even think of it like a game.
Here’s how it works:
This week, whenever you crave something, you are allowed to eat it …
… as long as you are willing to endure a small bit of discomfort first.
What’s a ‘small bit’ of discomfort?
I suggest one or a combination of these:
A small time delay such as 1, 5, or 10 minutes
Inserting an action step buffer such as ‘drink one glass of water’ or ‘talk a walk around the block.’
If you honor the deal you make with yourself, then you have earned the option to eat the food you crave.
Try using the Discomfort Deal this week and let me know how it goes!
