What Will You Want To Eat Tomorrow?

At the Super Bowl, and beyond.

Tomorrow’s the Super Bowl.

If you practice Flexible Dieting, you’ll be able to, basically, eat or drink whatever you want, without worry.

But there’s some nuance there.

Particularly in the phrase ‘whatever you want.’

Wants change.

I used to want to eat pizza, bread, pasta, and drink beer all day long … and I did.

Of course, those wants got me sick and fat.

Then I got tired of that so I tried my first strict diet, the Paleo Diet.

At first, following a written plan helps.

That was a milestone because I started to learn about what my body really wanted.

Cooking started to become a routine, and I desired poor quality food much less.

Next, habits start to become automatic.

Eventually I got to the point where healthy shopping and cooking was part of my personality; it became a non-negotiable part of my identity.

There was no turning back; there was no more desire to eat in the ‘old way.’

So when people ask me today questions such as, ‘Don’t I miss gluten after 25 years?’ I can confidently say ‘No' because …

At last, you will establish a new set of Wants.

Such as the Want to stay fit an energetic and never to feel like crap again.

That overrides, by far, the temptation of any slice of pizza, for me.

Your path won’t be exactly the same but it can be similar.

You can establish new Wants for YOU.

Be well,

Coach Matt
