You're not holding it. You are it.

The nutritional answers you seek are inside of you.

This may sound a bit ‘woo-woo’ and impractical.

However, I’ll do my best to make this email pragmatic and actionable:

The Big Picture 🖼️

You know which foods are healthy and which are not.

You don’t need me to tell you that.

The root cause of the massive problem of nutritional confusion today is the myriad of powerful external influences and opinions that cloud your judgment.

So, it becomes a question of sifting through the noise, testing what works for you, and discarding what doesn’t.

This is easier said than done, though.

Yet even after re-reading those myself, more help is needed.

I’ll outline some options below.

This is my basic process to help you on your path to nutritional self-discovery:

Part of my process depends on your input.

Which (I think) any good program should.

But, Not A Terribly Painful Process! 🤕

Our deepest moments of pain contain the potential of our greatest strengths.

In my case, it was my journey from being depressed and overweight to fit and vital, which led me to become a coach and write this newsletter for you.

Paul Chek refers to this concept as ‘The Pain Teacher.’

However, a weight loss program doesn’t have to be terribly painful.

It’s not supposed to make you feel ashamed, want to pull your hair out, be more confused, or feel like a failure.

(Unless that’s what you’re looking for.)

Here are 4 possible paths you might take toward greater nutritional self-confidence and achieving your health & fitness goals this year:

D.I.Y.

Not everyone needs a coach, practitioner, or support group to lose weight.

You can tinker around with newsletters (like this one), books (like this one), and podcasts (like this one) and figure it out on your own.

It might take a little longer. You might make a few mistakes.

But it’s possible. I did it this way.

Low Cost

There are many decent low-cost options out there for a little more accountability.

For example, my friend Aaron (better known as the ‘Huge Fat Loser’) just released this 62-day program for $49.

Mid-Range

I offer group coaching for $300 per month.

There are two weekly calls, recordings, a community forum, educational modules, 1:1 personal support from me, and bonuses.

High-End

Some people need the highest possible level of support: dedicated 1:1, fully bespoke coaching programs.

I work with about 5 people at a time in this manner; any more than that would dilute the energy required.
